Mission Statement

I am my experiences. I draw on the emotional aspect of each life-changing birth. I educate my families. I provide emotional, physical, spiritual comfort. Encouraging, respecting, believing, inspiring, transforming. Working to help women achieve their empowered birth. The birth of a child, the birth of a mother, the birth of a new woman.

Read My Story

“I think one of the best things we could do would be to help women/parents/families discover their own birth power, from within themselves. And to let them know it’s always been there, they just need to tap into it.”
- John H. Kennell M.D.

Doula & Aspiring Midwife Amy

Why choose a Doula?

A seasoned mom will already be shaped by her birth experience.
A first time birther, unless already self-taught on the importance of Doulas or natural birth, will be susceptible to the modern approach to childbirth.

In most cases these births leave a mom vulnerable, violated and with distorted views on childbirth. Not to mention the psychological and physical effects on the newborns.

What is the root of a Doula's calling?
For me, it is a desire to help women become the woman they are deep down inside. To help bring out their inner strengths as they navigate the pregnancy and birth process. To watch these women transform. To hope they go on to change the lives of others with the powerful message about birth's beautiful truths.
